The Strawberry Moon is the full Moon that occurs in June, when wild strawberries ripen. A full Moon happens when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align perfectly (a position called syzygy), so the Moon's near side is fully illuminated. This occurs roughly every 29.5 days.
